as per this conversation, team shield is setting up a database with volunteers willing to give blood and tissue (*and possibly other) samples in times of crisis when something might be learned from aforementioned blood, tissue and other samples.

open stuff:
— upkeep, data management (aka come sit in their kitchen every so often and drink their beer? the wine is off-limits)

— fellow scientists pls help
— critics etc also welcome but let's keep this post for organisational matters and actual discussion can happen on the network <3
